People Get Ready

How many buckets do you have at your house ?
Not long ago I did a post about food storage, and using 5 gallon buckets to store dried foods for future use.
Let me ask again, how many buckets do you have around your house ?
How many of you say to yourselves that it can't happen ? Things will never get that bad.
Have you looked at the news in the last few days ?
Weather your a fan of oil or not, we need it to function today as a society, and when that one element is taken away, or even made so expensive that we can't afford to buy it, how will that impact your life ?
When the cost of shipping a gallon of milk or a bag of potato's becomes to expensive, and the stores become bare, or contain food that is priced so high that we cannot afford it, where will that leave the average family ?
Everyone that has been to a grocery store in the last few months has seen a rise in prices, and anyone that has stopped for gas has watched that climb week after week.
When does it reach the point that it cost us more to get to work, or we have to leave the milk on the shelf ?
A few bags of rice, maybe some extra pasta, anything put aside now can make a difference when we reach the point that we look into our wallets and realize there is nothing left.

Is This Where It Started ?

Is this where it all started ? The hate for America ? The hate for freedom, and independence ?

Is this where the idea that people were just to commune with nature and allow the Government to provide for them ?

I have to scratch my head as I watch and listen to all the peace and love talk, and then watch just how radical some of these people were

I still have a hard time with the fact that those people are allowed to walk the street free to do and say as they please, with no remorse for anything.

Did you get that one part about the so called counter revolution ? Did you hear about how they could be re-educated or eliminated ?

How many reading this are thinking " WTF ? This was back in the 70's, this stuff is in the past "

Ya think ?

You know, there are a lot of people that are not sorry for destroying other peoples lives, and many are either in jail or dead. Ayers is not done with his radical agenda, and the other's that threw down the daisies for neckties are not done either

We are the counter revolution that the radicals were speaking of, and the front line of the attack is the calm, cool, and peaceful people that are at the town hall meetings, and protest marches, and tea party events, and sadly enough, the ones getting hit and punched, and victimized buy the hired thugs of the left.

The radicals have seen our first wave, our front line, Do they know whats waiting for them when they decide to re-educate or exterminate us ?

Prepared For What ?

I have my backups in place.
Food supplies, water, shelter, communication, protection.
I do this because I think it is best to prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.
I had a family member visit with me for a few weeks while he is out of work, and his opinion to all of this " survivalist " talk is a waste of time.
I showed him this clip



He stopped for a minute and scratched his head, and then said that this is just opinion, just wild conspiracies.
But then the smile left his face, and I could see that the wheels were turning in his head. He was starting to open his eyes.
I told him that I did not want to believe where we were headed at first, but things are starting to fall into place.



He looked at me and said " I don't have a life boat, I don't even have a life vest "

To Be Prepared ?

Self proclaimed Christian militia group.

I just don't get it.

I have heard some reports that they were after Muslims, and some that say they were after police officers.

I think the key words are " self proclaimed "

What about this Hutaree ?

I found this video showing some training procedures, some kind of capture the flag war game

I looked for a website here and found that they are not a religious cult, but mind full of family and friends, and closely follow God and his prophesies

We have similar groups around here, but without the military style training. I do not oppose what they are trying to do because these are troubling times, and I can appreciate the fact that they are willing to defend themselves, their family, friends, and stand with God.

Those of us that prepare for bad times think food, water shelter, and then defense. We should also include allies within our communities, and circle of friends that if the worse ever happens, we will not have to stand alone.
