Are You Ready ?

Look, it's bad, and it's only going to get worse.
Obama said recently that we were headed for a double dip recession.
Many Americans are on unemployment, and are about to run out of benefits, if they have not already.
Those that are still working, are they still going to have a job next week, next month or next year ?
Until the radicals in Washington get their pink slips and get sent home, it could be a hard ride for those of us that work for what we have.
I personally have purchased a piece of land that had 2 wells on the property. I found 3 single wide trailers and had them moved there and working with a cousin and a brother in law to get them set up so that they and their families could have a place to live.
I am hoping to do the same with the third, and I am on the lookout for more mobile homes.
Now the shelter part is a huge relief to someone that has lost their home due to unemployment, but what about food ?
Here is what I have been doing,
Going to Home Depot and buying buckets


The buckets are perfect storage containers for bulk food items, and here in a farming area, food is easy to find.

For example, many farmers are cutting soybeans now, and I filled 6 of my 5 gallon buckets Monday night for $20.00.

That is a lot of food if there are no stores, or no money to buy things. It is also something good to barter with

Just a few months ago, I filled over 25 buckets of corn. Some white, some yellow, and some for feed.

If you want some eggs, and no store to go to, what are you going to feed the chickens ?

I have so much put back just in case, and it will not go to waste, because the buckets are air and water tight, and I rotate with fresh if possible

Look around your home.

If everything stopped today, how long could you make it ?

Then he tells them to go out and be racist's, hate everyone that does well and works hard for what they have, and reminds them to scrape more money together and bring it to him next Sunday.

Our Leaders Are Hiding

Before the " chosen one " was elected, did he not promise us transparency and open door negotiations ?
Did he not say he would reach across the aisle and bring everyone together ?
Did he not tell us that these proceedings on health care would be televised on C-Span ?
What happened ? Did he tell us this just to get our votes ?
You know he did. Another lie, and another reason to pull any trust from this left wing administration.
One more reason to add to the list of things that show us that these people are up to no good.
Juan Williams is an intelligent man, and I do listen to his point of view, but when he tried to explain Obama's reason for back peddling, and called it a " strategic error ", I knew then he had run out of excuses for the President.
The White House will take a huge hit in the credibility department because of this, and will continue to hemorrhage support for health care
Our nation is a predominately a center right nation, and with a president as far left as Obama and his cabinet is, we are due for a storm

Don't Ask, They Won't Tell ??

Obama made us a promise of transparency in his administration
We, as Americans would be made aware what the Government was doing.
We were to be able to read bills, and have our voices heard.
As of today, that has not happened.
When we came out to send a message to the White House, we were labeled Redneck, and teabagger, and racist, and astroturf, and just plain crazy
This message was put together by grass roots organizations. Just regular people that do not like where Obama is leading this country.
The White House blamed Fox News for the demonstrations, and accused them of inciting people to rise against Obama.
This administration has now appointed Anita Dunn to call out Fox News as the muscle for the Republican party.
They have called Fox an " opponent " , and have refused to have Obama give an interview.



I do watch Fox News, and I do check the facts for myself.
As far as I can tell, they are on the mark, and many of the facts that they expose lead to action later in D.C.
Fox stands on their motto " Fair and Balanced ", and even though the host's of many of the opinion shows do just that, give their opinion, they always give someone else the last word, so that the viewer can make their own decision.
Bash them all you want, but it is the truth, they give everyone a chance to tell their side.
This week, Glenn Beck did them one better



A hot line to the show.
A direct line to Glenn Beck so that the White House can correct Glenn when he tells something other than the truth.
You heard Gibbs say he has watched many stories on " that network " that he found not to be true.
Well White House, Obama, Gibbs, Anita Dunn, and anyone else inside the beltway that hears Glenn Beck reporting lies about what Obama and the left is doing to this country,
Call him out.
Call him and set the record straight.
